The Product Manager Reading List
Despite the ambiguous title and many responsibilities that make up a Product Manager / Program Manager one of the fundamentals is constantly trying to improve yourself. It is incredibly important to know what your strengths are and even more importantly, your weaknesses. Many PMs instantly think about how they can stay relevant in their field by jumping into new technologies and techniques. Although extremely important, one of the biggest ways you can improve yourself, as primitive as it sounds, is by reading. There is an endless list of books and articles you could read to help you do this. A few months ago several of us at work stumbled upon what we are calling the “Reading List,” 50 Articles and Books that will Make you a Great Product Manager by Noah Weiss. This list has even inspired a few of us to create a book club. There are many other articles and books out there that I think are also important reads, however, if you complete this list you are off to a great start!
